PREP / PRODUCTION

Reports to:          Production Manager

Status:                 Hourly

Hours:                  Starts at 6:00 and overtime available, M-F

Location:             Newmarket Square, Boston, MA

The Prep/Production Team Member will perform the following functions:

  • Work in prep kitchen setting up ingredients
  • Working at kettles following recipes
  • Packing & palletizing product
  • Clean equipment as needed
  • Help out others when available
  • Other duties and projects as determined by managers

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work for any US employer without sponsorship
  • 1-2 years of experience as prep cook
  • Must speak and read English
  • Productive; gets the job done
  • Flexible; comfortable in environment where duties rotate, employees are constantly learning and employees help one another
  • Highest commitment to sanitation and work area safety
  • Good interpersonal skills; easy to work with; respects others
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 30-50 pounds, work in environment that can get warm
  • Lighthouse Soups requires a pre-employment drug test before final offer is made.
